Membership on Imvu: IMVU membership is free, allowing users to register an avatar name, utilize the 3D chat client, IMVU Credits purchase there bucks virtual content, and customize a homepage. Free accounts are denoted by the prefix 'Guest'.
Users can purchase their avatar name to become a full member, removing the 'Guest_' prefix, and to participate in the content creation program.
Full members can purchase additional account upgrades, IMVU Credits such as IMVU VIP membership, Age Verification, and various passes, including an Access Pass, which allows access to restricted material.
Additionally, the updated Terms of Service now explicitly allows IMVU to remove content from customer's inventories without compensation, though the previous Term of Service allowed this, though it was credits not detailed in an explicit manner.
For now, all previously submitted Product Pages with dynamic content and JavaScript currently in the Product Catalog will continue to function.
However, any new submissions or edits to existing Product Pages can no longer include any dynamic content. This may include code that you obtained from a third party website to customize your page, such as Youtube videos or JavaScript.
